Castellum Hoge Woerd was built on the foundations of an ancient Roman fortress. This new visitor centre accommodaties an archeological museum, a theater, nature and environmental education and catering facilities.
We made and performed the lighting design for several components in the visitor centre. The first fase was realized in the Summer of 2015: the entrance hall where the age-old boat is exhibited, museum objects and the theatre lobby. In August of 2016, the new museum wing was opened, designed by Pronk.
